I stumbled upon this Footage of the execution by firing squad of a man convicted of armed robbery in Nigeria. The execution took place at Victoria Island’s Bar Beach in Lagos.
Footage of this execution was used in Michelangelo Antonioni’s 1975 film, “The Passenger”, which starred Jack Nicholson as a television journalist traveling in Africa. The scene was fictionalised as the execution of a political leader.
